The skull dancer was a charming fellow.

It liked to dance when the sun was yellow.

It was just thin bone and hat black.

But it its head it was never like that.

The skull dancer scared all the parents.

The older folk were seen staring.

The candy it gave was thrown away.

But the kid would watch its moves all day.

The skull dancer's skull eyes would never never cry.

'Cause they weren't there, it was all dry.

And sure there was not a hair on its head.

But that was not all there was to be read.

The skull dancer looked horrid and spooky.

And its antics always seemed cooky.

Yes, all those white bones could give quite a scare.

But the poor little kid weren't aware.

Because they saw beyond its skeletal ruse.

To them, it was a clown the a muse.

It wore bright jackets and colorful hair.

But the adults could never care.

So, the skull dancer was a charming fellow.

For only those who saw beyond black and yellow.

It was just thin bone and hat black.

But in its head it was never like that.
