Mysore.  In a mesmerizing virtual gathering that transcended borders, the official announcement of the Panorama International Literature Festival 2024 unfolded, bringing together a diverse array of writers and scholars from around the globe. Scheduled to captivate audiences from January 1 to 31, 2024, the festival embraces the theme "Agni: The Fire," delving into the elemental essence of fire in its profound philosophical manifestation.

The event, graced by the esteemed presence of World Philosophical Forum President Prof Jeffrey Levett as the Chief Guest, was hosted by Writers Capital Foundation Secretary General Prof Irene Doura Kavadia. Chief Advisor Joan Josep Barcelo presided over the program, setting the stage for an intellectually stimulating literary journey. Despena Dalmaris, author and editor of Writers International Edition, presented the concept note, accompanied by videos exploring the multifaceted dimensions of the Agni theme, designed to inspire writers worldwide.

In an era marked by technological prowess, Preeth Padmanabhan Nambiar, President of Writers Capital International Foundation and Chairman of the Panorama International Arts & Literature Festival, emphasized the transformative power of virtual platforms. He noted, "The virtual mode has enabled us to unite without the constraints of space and time, providing literary enthusiasts unparalleled access to works featured during virtual festivals on the World Wide Web and social media pages."

The Panorama International Literature Festival, renowned for its exploration of highly philosophical themes, continues its tradition of intertwining literature with pressing social issues. This year's theme, while rooted in philosophical depth, also addresses urgent global concerns such as climate change through the lens of global warming. Irene Doura-Kavadia, Secretary General of the Writers Capital Foundation, expressed the hope of inspiring a collective voice against global warming, igniting the spark of change.

The foundation, listed under the civil societies in the United Nations, actively supports the organization's aims and objectives. As a testament to its commitment to global literary connectivity, the festival will publish 'The Quill Compendium 2023,' a global directory featuring biographies of significant writers from across the globe. The Panorama International Literary Awards, scheduled for June 2024 in Athens, Greece, will further celebrate literary excellence.

Greek writer Olga Acheimastou delivered a warm welcome speech, setting the tone for the festival's unfolding chapters, while author and Executive member of the foundation Giorgos Sardelis extended the vote of thanks.

Founded by author, humanitarian, and educationist Preeth Padmanabhan Nambiar, the Writers Capital International Foundation, guided by its motto "Bridging Cultures and Uniting Nations," now operates in over 87 countries.
