This exceptional gathering welcomed 75 expectant parents to a day filled with joy, camaraderie, and invaluable knowledge, marking a significant step on their journey to parenthood.

The event opened with the soft glow of lamp lighting, symbolizing the illumination of hope and wisdom for the expectant parents. Dr. Meghana Jetty, Senior Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Laparoscopic Surgery at Rainbow Children's Hospital, Marathahalli took center stage to deliver an enlightening talk on "Demystifying Myths in Pregnancy." Her words resonated deeply, setting the tone for an enriching day ahead.

As a gynecologist, my goal is to empower expectant mothers through education and by debunking pregnancy myths. Pregnancy is a beautiful journey, but it can also be riddled with confusion and anxiety due to misinformation. By debunking these myths with science-based knowledge and compassionate care, we pave the way for healthier pregnancies and more confident mothers-to-be. It is important to remember, that each pregnancy is unique, and understanding the truth behind the myths ensures that you make informed choices, and embrace the wonders of parenthood experience with confidence and joy. The atmosphere soon filled with laughter as attendees engaged in a playful Cookie-Eating game, further strengthening the bonds among the expectant parents. Dr. V Malathi, Consultant in Nutrition & Dietetics, Marathahalli, shared vital insights on nutrition during pregnancy, empowering parents with the knowledge needed for a healthy journey.

Fun games and activities followed, including the charming "Belly Measurement," the spirited "Ball Throwing," the delightful "Balloon Blowing," and the nostalgic "Musical Chair." Volunteers brought additional joy by generously gifting expecting parents, and the lucky draw added an element of surprise.

The pinnacle of the day was the captivating ramp walk, where expectant mothers showcased their radiant smiles and elegant attire, reflecting newfound confidence. The event culminated in a delightful lunch, fostering connections and camaraderie among the attendees.

Ms. Rajalakshmi, a Physiotherapist at Marathahalli, emphasized the "Importance of Physiotherapy in Pregnancy" and its role in facilitating smooth and natural deliveries. Dr. N Vineela Reddy, Consultant in Anesthesia and Pain Management, enlightened attendees about "Labor Analgesia," offering reassurance and support. Dr. Anagha Madhuraj Kulkarni, Lactation Consultant in Marathahalli, provided a comprehensive overview of "Prenatal Breastfeeding Education," equipping parents with essential knowledge.

Dr. Sandeep R, Consultant – Neonatology and Pediatrics, Marathahalli addressed the "Common Worries of New Parents," nurturing a sense of understanding and comfort among expectant parents.
