'Advances in English Language Studies' was successfully organized in UEM

Jaipur. Department of English and Humanities, University of Engineering and Management, Jaipur has conducted 2 days International Conference on 'Advances in English Language Studies'. Prof. (Dr.) Mukesh Yadav, Convener of this International Conference told that the Two Day International Conference on “Advances in English Language Studies” focuses on the multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary area of Advances in English Language Studies. He further said that the Conference would explore the altered roles that are given to English such as for employability, in international mobility, as a key for unlocking development opportunities. The Conference would aim at to bring together and provide a platform to all such interested scholars, academicians and experts to share their opinions, viewpoints and researches for their elevation and enhancement of their existing knowledge. It would also envisage long-term sharing of knowledge and discussions of relevant issues.  

More than 135 papers were selected out of 400 research articles were received from all parts of the globe and participants presented their research work during this 2-days conference in front of the world's renowned professors of English Language. 

Prof. (Dr.) Biswajoy Chatterjee, Vice Chancellor, UEM Jaipur informed that this conference is unique in its type as it focuses on the Advances in English Language Studies and at the present era, teaching and learning English Language requires inclusion of Latest Technology like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning etc. He emphasized on the application part of the language rather than just a tool for communication and shared many examples related to the topic with the audience of more than 150 participants joined the conference in hybrid mode.

Key note speakers from all over the world shared their thought and expresses their views on the Advances in English Language in the present time. All renowned Professors from all over the globe, Prof. (Dr) Rosemary Douglas, UK, Prof. (Dr) Yaseer Al Tamimi, UAE, Prof. (Dr) Motikala Subba Dewan, Nepal,  Prof. (Dr) Hemanta Raj Daha, Nepal, Prof. (Dr) Rajul Bhargava, India, Prof. (Dr) ZN Patil, India, Prof. (Dr) Devika Brendon, Sri Lanka, Prof. (Dr) Paritosh Chandra Dugar, India,  Prof. (Dr) Srinivas Rao, UAE and other eminent professors from all parts of India were present during the Innaugural session of the conference. During innaugural session of the conference,  Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Kumar Sharma, Registrar, UEM Jaipur and Prof. (Dr.) Aniruddha Mukherjee welcomed all the dignitaries by way of presenting conference mementos.

Prof. (Dr.) Satyajit Chakrabarti, Chancellor, UEM Jaipur congratulated the entire team of organizers of this 2-days conference and expressed his views on the importance of English Language in international trade and interactions. He informed that English is a must learn language if someone wants to achieve great success in his life. He also emphasized for the equal weightage for the local and regional languages in addition to English for better understanding of international interactions.

Prof. (Dr.) Satyajit Chakrabarti, Pro-Vice Chancellor, UEM Jaipur also emphasized for the better understanding of the advances in English Language Studies to make students more employable.

All participants were given certificates and best paper award was also presented to the research paper with best quality content and research oriented approach.
