Jaipur. An E-Seminar on ‘’Critical Thinking: Classroom Practices” was organized by Indian Society For The Promotion of English Language and Literature, (i Spell) Rajasthan Forum. The Keynote speaker, Dr.Sonu Shiva, Associate Professor, Govt. Dungar College, Bikaner, elaborated the importance of critical thinking and reasonable thinkers in day-to-day lives. She briefed the various classroom strategies and teaching objectives. She discussed her perspective on how teachers can design and scaffold activities that students can practise and reflect on the logic of content and the logic of their own thinking about that content.
Dr. Jayshree Singh, Associate Professor and Head of the Department, Bhupal Nobles University, Udaipur, chaired the session and stressed the significance of Critical thinking in context of classroom teaching, as well as day to day life. She elucidated with the illustrations of Mahatma Gandhi, Dronacharya etc. Dr. Haseena Kabeer, Convener, Rajasthan forum, moderated the session. Dr,Vipula Mathur, coordinated the event .
Dr. Shalini Yadav, PRO i Spell, admired the discourse and presented certificates to the guests.
